This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and share information when you register a company account, request quotes, place orders, use our customer portal, or otherwise interact with our services.

ICD sells exclusively to businesses and qualified commercial buyers — not to consumers for personal or household use. This policy is written for that B2B context.

Information We Collect

We collect information necessary to operate a quote-first B2B sales platform, including:

• Business account information: company name, industry, tax ID or EIN (when provided), billing and shipping addresses, and account status.
• Contact information: work email, name, phone number, and job-related details for authorized users on your account.
• Quote and order data: products requested, packaging selections, quantities, MOQ-validated line items, freight preferences, accessorial selections, quote status, and order history.
• Payment information: invoices and payment status processed through Stripe. ICD does not store full payment card numbers on our servers; Stripe handles card and bank payment data under its own privacy and security standards.
• Portal usage data: login activity, pages viewed, quote builder interactions, and feature usage tied to your authenticated session.
• Communications: messages you send through contact forms, support requests, and email correspondence with our team.
• Marketing preferences: whether you opt in to product updates, bulk pricing notices, and reorder reminders (opt-in only — never required to register).
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and cookies or similar technologies when you visit our site (see Cookies and Analytics below).

How We Use Information

We use the information above to:

• Review and approve B2B account applications.
• Prepare, validate, and fulfill quote requests and orders.
• Coordinate LTL freight and communicate verified shipping costs before you approve a quote.
• Process payments via Stripe invoice and maintain order records.
• Provide customer support, SDS access, and account management.
• Send transactional emails (quote updates, invoice links, shipping notifications).
• Send marketing emails only when you have explicitly opted in; you may unsubscribe at any time.
• Improve our platform, diagnose technical issues, and understand site usage through analytics.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions.

We Do Not Sell Personal Information

ICD does not sell, rent, or trade personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes. We share data only as described in this policy — with service providers who help us operate the platform, when required by law, or to protect our rights and users.

Service Providers (Subprocessors)

We use trusted third-party providers to host, secure, and deliver our services. These providers process data on our behalf under contractual obligations appropriate to their role:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage for account, quote, and order records.
• Vercel — website hosting and content delivery.
• Stripe — payment processing and invoicing.
• Resend — transactional and opt-in marketing email delivery.
• Google Analytics (GA4) — website usage analytics when NEXT_PUBLIC_GA_MEASUREMENT_ID is configured in our environment. GA4 may collect device and interaction data subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

Each provider maintains its own privacy policy governing how it handles data. We select providers with security practices appropriate for B2B commerce platforms.

Cookies and Analytics

Our site uses cookies and similar technologies for essential functions (such as keeping you signed in) and, when enabled, for analytics through Google Analytics 4. Analytics helps us understand how visitors use the catalog, quote builder, and registration flows so we can improve the experience.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may limit portal functionality. Where applicable law requires consent for non-essential cookies, we will honor those requirements.

Marketing Communications

During registration, you may optionally opt in to receive product updates, bulk pricing information, and reorder reminders by email. Marketing messages are never required to open an account or complete a purchase. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe mechanism, and you may also contact us to update your preferences.

Data Retention

We retain business account, quote, and order records for as long as your account is active and as needed to fulfill orders, resolve disputes, meet tax and accounting requirements, and comply with applicable law. When data is no longer needed for these purposes, we delete or anonymize it in accordance with our internal retention practices.

Security

We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls on our database, and payment data handled by Stripe rather than stored directly by ICD.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to:

• Access personal information we hold about you or your company account.
• Request correction of inaccurate company profile or contact data.

Account holders can update much of their company profile directly in the customer portal. For other requests, email support@industrialcleanersdirect.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and may need to verify your authority to act on behalf of the business.

Children

ICD's services are directed exclusively to businesses and commercial buyers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18 years of age. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
